So sorry, wounded NRA
This is your moment to limp away
Your arrogant bosses just shot you in the foot
Your own top guns, Loesch/LePierre
Took on our children and lost their dare
And, your undeserved privileges went kaput
Full of righteous, you relish these fights
In fictitious defense of your 2nd rights
While really sig heiling your tribe of militants
You can pull your trigger legally
With permits to fire indiscriminately
Each shot of power trumping your impotence
But, you ambushed yourselves on TV
Your immorality for all to see
Cowardly defying our innocent heroic dead
Ironically, it was you the irrational shooters
Defending your shame against victim “intruders”
Out of control, ‘killing’ your own family instead
So, what did you expect big business would do
Publicly embarrassed in bed with you
Did you really think that you were that invincible?
True you own a lawless president
Bought his loyalty, bribery well spent
A marriage of our country’s most unprincipled
But, how ironic that you affirmed speculation
That it’s dangerous to arm the wrong population
Yes, it is you, NRA, spilling blood in our ranks
And, thanks to our bold, brave corporations
Leading America’s moral transformation
We won’t stop now till you are shooting blanks
