If love is THE truth, then ALL else is not
Shame on me… for (the) “all else” I bought
Squandering affection, indulging my fears
Trusting mistrust till my love disappears
Wasting my heart on cheap imitations
Love-lite promises, fleeting sensations
Fulfillment conceded to relief so favored
Who wants love real, when virtual is safer?
Meant unconditional, love’s now transacted
If you don’t love me, I’ll swipe you redacted
Sentencing you through eyes of suspicion
My love’s found guilty from fear’s inquisition

Till I’m my doubt, now… mirroring my chaos
Two-facing you… reflecting ‘betrayed us’
As love, the life blood of human subsistence
Dries up from (my) dread, out of existence
Where did my love go? Lost to confusion?
‘Falling out of love’, my man-made delusion
How absurd to pretend, love’s ever dispelled
Love simply, can never… fall out of itself!
But, have we divorced love, certain it failed us?
Mating distrust, with hate that’s inhaled us
Breeding with fear to spawn inhumanity
Loveless children of hatred’s insanity

Afraid, we’re displaced, we scream our pain felt
Hating our ‘brothers’, our scared cry for help
Hating-back your hate, I’m more the same of
It’s time we see past hate; hate needs our love
LOVING, OUR TRUTH… trumps fear, our excuse
Free will may choose hate… but, LOVE’s not seduced
LOVE is God’s life force… governing our planet
LOVE, or fear’s-hate? It’s our choice now, dammit!
